What’s God Like?

These words could not be any truer. Over almost 45 years as a Christian I’ve never seen someone’s life rise above their understanding of God.
One of the most helpful requests you or I could ever bring to God is simply to ask Him what He’s really like. But then allow God the rest of your lifetime to answer. He’s in no hurry. He might like to take that long.
Why not make a start? Begin asking Him to reveal to your heart what He’s really like. You have nothing to lose and a revolutionised new life to gain.
As you read the Scripture, be looking for glimpses of the true God. Take special note of how Jesus understood His Father. Our concept of God must line up perfectly with Jesus’ understanding. Don’t forget He’s been with His Father forever.
