Day 1 Christ in Us

Christ in Us

The great Christian thinker, Ravi Zacharias, describes what is happening in the Western world today.

“Naturalism leaves the spirit unfulfilled and sheer materialism leaves one weary. The vacuum created by these realities is what has sent Western culture foraging into Eastern spirituality to look for a way to satisfy the spirit. The bottom line is that life has become disjointed though busy, and the heart has become emotionally empty through indulging in every fantasy … There is no seamless way of thinking, and the result is a breakdown of life’s meaning at the deepest level of need.”

The Christian is the only person who can help people make sense of it all. Attending meetings alone does little for the spirit. For many it becomes just something else we do.

Our spirit has to be nourished in the midst of the hurried and harried life many of us lead. That nourishment is only found in a living, breathing, energised relationship with your God. We have the answer. His name is Jesus but we have to first make that answer work in us. People have to see the reality of Christ in us before we can commend Him to others.
